yesterday, the 26th of August
was exactly one year my dad left his loved ones
i still remember that day like it was yesterday

rewind back to a year ago
my dad has been suffering from cancer quietly without telling his family
probably not to worried us at that time
he was a very simple man and not very sociable just like me
but to be honest with you guys, im not his favourite but my sis is
i know he still cared for me

we didnt know what happen to him
he lost his weight, didnt have appetite to eat & so, we thought it was normal for an old man like him
until one day, he was admitted to sgh
the doctor didnt tell us anything xcept tt he had to undergo some operation to remove something which i cant remember

we thought it will be better but it became worser
we had been told of him suffering from cancer 2 days before his death
it was a BIG blow for me and my family
as he was the only breadwinner, i tot how my family is gng to survive
but we manage to go through our life till now.. "alhamdullillah"
i am fortunate to have the time to ask forgiveness from him
if not i think would feel very guilty for what i have done to him
my mum stayed with him till his last breath

the ceremony was done smoothly from start to finish
a lot of ppl visited us or send their condolences including my classmates and friends
thank you so much guys for being there for me and my family

now, my family are leading a simple life living with my aunt at kallang
we will go back to our house at bedok when we are free

for the past 1 year, i have seen him 3 times in my dream
and the weird thing is that im the only one in my family that saw him
i told my mum about it
she said that probably he ask me to take care of the family just like what he did
as im the eldest in the family
hopefully, i can fulfill my duty.. "insyallah"
